A compact on-premise PoC server for small deployments
POCSTRS MiniServer is a compact on-premise PoC server designed for small, high-density sites such as hotels, restaurants, retail chains and property security. It brings a dedicated PoC core into the customer’s own network, so teams can run group and individual calls, browser-based dispatch, real-time location visibility and emergency alerts on a local, self-controlled system.
MiniServer works with cost-effective Cat.1 PoC devices and Android-based PoC terminals, supports plug-and-play provisioning, and can be deployed quickly on existing IP networks. It is a good fit for sites that need reliable day-to-day coordination, but want to keep overall project cost and operational complexity under control.
PoC voice services
MiniServer provides PoC voice services including one-to-one calls, fixed and temporary group calls, server-side voice recording, with support for forced release, floor control indication and member status display.
Location visibility
Terminals report their position to the server at configurable intervals, with a default setting of 30 seconds. Dispatchers can view the current location of active users in real time from the dispatcher interface.
Emergency SOS and alerts
Users can trigger SOS alarms from their devices. Online users and dispatchers in the same group receive an audible and visual alert with location information, and SOS history can be viewed from the dispatcher interface.
Centralised account and device management
Terminal and dispatcher accounts are managed centrally, including user creation, group assignment and access control, so customers have a single place to maintain their PoC users and devices.
